Oh sorry, about your question : This plugin propose to share content, no to like content, so I only display the Share button of Facebook.

1. Ok, version 1.1.3 fixes this.

2. Like button – I understand. No problem.

3. Remaining issue “The social buttons appear in a single post, but not on the index page. Not sure if that is an issue with the plugin or the theme i’m using (Origin – see test site at randomexplorations.com).”

Have tested with other themes as well. And same problem.

4. When using the Twitter button, the full URL is send. Could be an issue if long URLs. 140 character limit… Perhaps using an URL shortener (optional ?)

It’s not really issues for point 3 and 4, it’s willing.

Do you need to share content from the list articles? (home or archives)

You can try using the plugin AutoShort or using the hook “juiz_sps_get_permalink” like that :

add_filter('juiz_sps_the_permalink', 'my_jsps_link');
function my_jsps_link($permalink) {
	global $post;
	return $post->guid;
}

Copy/paste in your functions.php file of your theme directory.

Je pense avoir le même problème, en faisant une mise à jour du plugin, les bouton de partages sociaux ne s’affiche plus sur la page “index”.
Pas de solution?

En fait ce n’est pas un problème mais un parti pris : autoriser l’affichage des boutons sur des types de post précis (page, article, media, custom post), donc uniquement lorsque l’article est lisible en entier.

Mais si la fonctionnalité de l’affichage partout vous manque autant, je peux proposer une option supplémentaire qui autoriserait les pages d’indexation (accueil, archives, recherche).

Merci de cette réponse aussi rapide, Ce plugin est génial et s’intègre très bien dans le blog donc je m’occupe en ce moment, mais il serait interessant que l’on ai le choix de l’endroit de l’insertion par exemple, comme vous le proposé vous même.
