Version 1.4.0 update: sections not showing

  • Maybe I am still under jetlag effect, but I cannot understand why, after updating to version 1.4.0., sections are not showing anymore in the homepage.

    I supposed I tried them all, before asking…

    Hi,

    Kindly go to Settings>Readings>Select Your Latest Posts. Save.

    Then go to Appearance>Theme options and save the options.

    Should show just fine.

    Let me know if that worked for you.

    The site broke as the theme was updated to 1.4.0 : all customizations were saved in the option panel, but there were no sections in the frontend.

    I checked all settings, I even tried installing the previous version of the theme, but with no success.

    I tried theme version 1.4.0 on a local installation running WordPress 4.2.5 and it is working fine.

    I created a new site and installed the theme on WordPress 4.3.1. and it is working fine.

    In the end, I fixed the broken site switching theme to SKT White, but it is a second-best solution.

    Any idea of what happened?
