Version 2.0.2 does not work

    Come on guys. This is a shambles. I previously tried to update to V2.0 and that failed. I have now updated to v2.0.2 and again it doesn’t work. I am so annoyed that this is not working on multiple levels. I have installed Mega Box already.

    Here are the problems I am facing:

    1. Multiple Dealers – Previously Front End didn’t work. I received an update for that but now the plugin will not work with “Multiple Dealers Plugin” Active. I assume it’s the same for DVLA & RegCheck plugins too. I will need an update to be sent.

    2. Listings not showing – Prior to installing the update my search page was “/listings”. When I installed the update my listing page stopping displaying cars, where as previously it showed about 10 cars. As a fix I added a shortcode (see issue 3 below). However it seems that I can not now view any cars in our database (we have over 300), even if I go direct to the URL for the listing. I have tried to create a new listing, and although it is created, I cannot view the published listing.

    3. Shortcodes not working – [auto_listings_listings] is not working. When I use this I get a PHP error. This is the same problem someone else has mentioned.

    I need this sorted out asap. This has clearly not been fully tested and even after 3 new version to fix problems, this still doesn’t work.

    1. Please contact us to get the latest version of Multiple Dealers and other plugins.

    2. The updates doesn’t remove any data, it must be something else. Have you try resetting permalink?

    3. I’ve just tried the shortcode and I can’t replicate the error. Can you make some screenshots?

    2. I have had a look at Permalinks but everything seems normal there. The problem has now developed. Yesterday the Listings page was only showing the Search feature, and no cars. Now the Listings page is showing cars but no search. I have tried to add the search with the shortcode, but that has not worked. (https://www.supercartribe.com/listings/)

    On a separate test page (https://www.supercartribe.com/test-listings/) I have added the shortcode. Adding this makes the Search fields appear, however when I use it to search, no results are returned, even though I have 300+ cars in the database.

    3. As mentioned above when I added a shortcode to a page, the page stopped working. This is no longer the case, and I do not get the PHP error anymore. However as mentioned above the search itself does not return any results.

    Update:
    1. Still waiting for new Multiple Dealers plugin to be emailed to me.

    2. The biggest problem of the Plugin not working has been fixed, but it has taken me 1.5 days to get working. I think the biggest change is to refresh the Permalinks, in which i did not change anything and just saved again. I think that bought back the vehicle listings and made the links to each car work again.

    However the listings then do not show any car images, so to bring the images back you have to go into each car listing from the front end of your website. This seems to refresh it, and then the images appear in the list of cars. Its a pain to have to open 300 pages, but this seems to refresh.

    Also by re-saving the Permalinks, the search has started to work again.

    3. Shortcodes raise up a PHP error in the back end of WordPress. In the front end there is no error. Its very annoying as if ever I need to edit a page I have to deactivate the plugin first to then be able to edit. This needs to be fixed.

    Run some test myself, can’t get the new version 2.02 to work with Multiple dealer either!.

    As I have over 740 cars with 20 photos each on my site I’ve dcided to stick with version 1.6 for the time being untill ALL problems are solved.

    Yes I’ve been able to get it to work without Multiple Dealer. Hopefully I will get a new version of that shortly.

    I would wait as looks like you will definitely need it!
