We are still stuck to version 1.11.0. I had high hopes for 2.0.3 But no luck. After loggin in to the Amazon account, users see the progress indicator rotating forever. WP, theme and all plugins are latest versions. Others posted the same issue, but we’ve never got a good answer. Luckily the old versions seems to work just fine.

Well, I’ve already done that in this thread:

https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/endless-loop-in-checkout/ over an year ago. The problem is described in the post above: The user logs in to the Amazon account. The iframes load the user data and then the rotating progress indicator does not stop, and the overlay stays forever. The customer can’t finish the order. That’s it. This suddenly appeared the first time after udating to the 1.12 version. This is why we have to stay with 1.11.0.

Of course, we tried a standard theme and deactivated all other plugins. No luck. Since troubleshooting is extremely time-consuming, we just keep the old version as long as possible.

We also had trouble and reverted back to Version 1.13.1. The 2.01 and the 2.0.3 caused errors for the customers (‘There was an error while processing your payment. Your payment method was not charged. Please try again. If the error persist, please contact us about your order’). Tried to deactivate caching and minifying and so on – but no success – so we went back to the old old version. Philipp

    Hey @cutu234,

Great, you are using “Price based on Countries”, right? I will do some test and come back to you.

@hdca not sure if we are talking about the same issue. There are some extra details so we can check it?

    Hey @cutu234 ,

I just made some tests with:
    – WooCommerce 5.5.2
    – WooCommerce Amazon Pay 2.0.3
    – WooCommerce Price Based on Country (Basic) 2.0.22

I was able to checkout without the endless looping. Feel free to test it here. There are 2 zones US (USD) and Europe (EUR).

    Let me know.
    Best,
    Christian

Hi Christian, yes we were talking about the 2.0.1 (some weeks ago) which didn’t work – so we reverted back to 1.0.x and then upgraded to 2.0.3 hoping the issue was fixed in this version. Cheers, Philipp

    Hey @hdca

you are still having the endless loop with the multicurrency feature of the Amazon Pay plugin?

are you using also “WooCommerce Price Based on Country (Basic)”?

    Let me know.

    Best,
    Chrisitna

No, we do not have a loop! We get the: ‘There was an error while processing your payment. Your payment method was not charged. Please try again. If the error persist, please contact us about your order’ – no multi currency, no price based on country. Best, Philipp

We use an iFrame overlay for the Amazon login. So, the scenario is quite different from your test shop. Could this be the problem?

    Hey @cutu234

could be related. You will need to test it without the iFrame.

    Let us know.

Seems to be ok. I had to create a new account, since my real email was not accepted. Apart from that, everything worked. But as I said, this is not an option for us. We prefer the iframe. The redirect to Amazon is too much of a distraction and might be a conversion killer.

    Resolved? Are you kidding me?

Same here. For more than a week now no amazon pay payment possible.
We are using 2.0.3 and error is the same: “There was an error while processing your payment. Your payment method was not charged. Please try again. If the error persist, please contact us about your order.”
    Please fix asap.
    Thanks.

[EDIT] we don’t use the iframe login but the normal redirect.
