Version: 2.0.4 question

  • I just installed this latest update – thank you. Can you please tell me how the new feature “Updated sermon archive to show new sermon sorting fields function” functions. I do not seem to be able to see how to engage this new fuctionality.

    Hey @cseevinck, this is referring to the filtering that appears at the top of the sermon pages. I believe that function was re-written and missed in 2.0.3, so the changelog is just indicating that it has been included now so that the filter bar shows up. In version 2.0.3 it didn’t.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks @gospelpowered, I’m still not clear on this – are you referring to the page where I put the [sermons] shortcode? If it is, then for my site it still does not work – see https://tf-sandy.org/sermons/. If its the archive page, it also does not work for me – see https://tf-sandy.org/audio-talks/

    No problem @cseevinck. Yeah spot on, the filter should show up on the archive pages, i.e. the one set in your plugin settings. Usually it’s domain.com/sermons, which i assume is your link you provided with the same ending.

    If you are using 2.0.4, then it’s hard to know why it’s not outputting the filter bar without investigating on the actual site.

    All my tests show that it does show up fine.

    If you have their support package then i suggest sending an email to [email protected] so more troubleshooting can be done. Best to also include some temporary admin logins.
