Thanks for this update, looks promising but a bit confusing at this point.

My first tentative to enable it by clicking the “enable” checkbox resulted in a page 404 not found error with this slug: …/wp-admin/admin.php?page=dx-dam-options&paged=1

In fact, what does this “enable” mean exactly? When not checked, images won’t be deleted anymore when a post is removed?

The 2 columns for each image are a bit confusing as I don’t well understand the difference. I also get some images not displaying and the columns returning “image” for them.

Also, it would be nice to be able to set the amount of items/page as the amount we get by default is really very low for large sites.

    Thanks again, great job!

  • Hey @dsl225,
    Thanks for reaching out,

Our team checked the issue you described, but we can not reproduce it. Is this still happening?

To answer your question – the “Enable feature” means exactly what you said in your question. When it is not checked, the media files won’t be deleted from the Media library anymore when the posts that contain them are deleted.

Let me explain about the columns, the first one called “Parent post” contains only one post, the post where the image is added first. The second one “All posts with this media” contains all posts which contain the media file.

Thanks for the suggestion about setting the number of items per page, we will include it in a future update of the plugin.

    Best,
    Plamen

    Hi Plamen,

    Thanks for the clarifications.

I think I found the reason for the 404 error.
It is happening only on sites installed on subfolders.

Let’s say you have this site: https://www.maindomain.com/subfolder/wp-admin/…
When you enable/disable the plugin, the settings page tries to load this page:
    https://www.maindomain.com/wp-admin/… (missing the subfolder path)

In fact, if go back to the previous page with the plugin’s settings you can see that the checkbox was added and the plugin is probably enabled but this 404 page will make most users think it doesn’t work.
