Was told to use Version 2.7.2 to fix the current cron issues. That’s the version that started the whole issue – we are currently using that version.

Issues include: Orange button with exclamation mark – error message is “Cron Event Not Found”; category replace has stopped working correctly – possible due to the cron error.

Have tried disabling plugins and it made no difference.

The wp-rollback plugin is untested and can’t be installed on our production sites. Is there a site where I can download an older version?

Older versions are available here on www.ads-software.com: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/post-expirator/advanced/

I edited a post and updated it and now its working (after using wp rollback to v2.7.1)
I still need to gather more data to get all the scenarios and will let you know.

I have updated again to v2.7.3 and on all the old posts it says cron event not found (similar situation was on v2.7.1 unless you edit and then update the post)
after updating again to v2.7.3 i test published a new post and a cron event was created (no cron event not found error!)
No i only have to wait and see if it actually does the job of “expiring” the post.

    Found the problem.
Actually there was no bug, but for some reason after the update only Administrator became the one able to post expiration.
I changed the settings back to author and it works now ??
