After the update to 2.8.3 we are no longer able to update any of our pods images within the content types. You can select an image but upon saving the image fields remain blank.

We haven’t been able to reproduce this, can you report this on our GitHub at https://pods.io/submit/ and include additional information including your package (Pods Admin > Components > Migrate Packages), site health information, and instructions on how you end up seeing the issue happen when you go to edit an affected file field’s images?

I also came across this issue, the fix came from disabling our caching plugin and then re-enabling it. Ha… tried turning on and off again and it worked. lol

Same thing happen after update to 2.8.3 (WP 5.8.1).. not depends to caching in my case. No any js error in console. All other linked before images works fine.

    i had the same issue

what worked for me was RESAVING the PODs types fields

        browse to the pods admin
edit the pod type with a file field
        click save

There’s now a fix in Pods 2.8.4 that resolves this issue. Thanks for your patience everyone.

Resaving the Post Field then the Post Type worked for me. Might have worked to just save the Post Type, too. Whew! Saved me from an ulcer!
