This is just a quick note to keep all users up-to date with the development plan of the plugin.

I have been away from the site for the last few months; hence the slow response to many queries.

From what was a small plugin to fulfil my own needs, the plugin has started taking off, and has now been downloaded over 11,000 times. I am genuinely impressed with some of the designs and sites people have used my plugin for. To that end, if users provide links, I would like to features some on my own website to showcase the plugin.

I am now in a position to improve the plugin further, so users can gain more from the plugin. Amongst many minor changes, and improvements, I will be implementing the fully parallax effect (ie, the background moving at a different speed) for those that wish for this effect.

The plugin is proving to be so popular because of the simplicity of it. Unfortunatly, because of the simplicity of it, it may not work with all themes as you may like. Please remember that the vast majority of the times it is because of the theme, and not the plugin. Where possible I have offered my assistance to users, and even in extreme cirumstances had to fix themes to get the user what they want. All I ask is to seek advice of myself or other users, before posting bad or negative reviews/comments.

I’m hoping the new version will be out in the next week or too.
Thanks again for using the plug-in.
    Adam.

  • Hi,

Any idea when the new version will be out?

Can you suggest me how to add styling for post text? Currently there is an option to add styling to header but not post content?

    Thanks

Awesome plug in. One of the few that actually works and is flexible to be actually used.

Is there a timeframe on the horizon for version 2? the scroll speed option would make it perfect.

Version 2.0 is very close. I had to start it from scratch as I lost my previous work.

Scrolling speed will be a feature.

It’s an excellent piece of work!
