    Hello,

I have noticed that, after updating to v. 2, our widget displaying a list group is one day off. In other words, although today is Saturday and the feed is set to show events beginning from today, it is showing events beginning from yesterday (Friday).

Here is what I have done thus far:

    1. Ensured all time zone settings are correct in GCE plugin (all set to PST, like my WP installation.)

    2. Ensured all time zone settings are correct in Google Calendar (also set to PST).

I’m not sure what else to do, as this makes the widget essentially useless, since it shows past events that have already ended.

Thank you for any help or suggestions.

  • I noticed this morning that my grouped list calendars had apparently not updated since the day I upgraded to v.2, even though the calendars are all set to display from Today. I had to manually clear the cache on each, so I believe it’s not that the widget is off by a day, but that the GCE plugin is not properly clearing the cache. Most of my calendar feeds are set for the default cache duration (43200) but a few are set to a shorter duration.

Using WordPress 4.0 and GCE 2.0.1

    Thank you for the tip.

I manually cleared the cache, but the feed still begins from yesterday, so it appears that the plugin is off by one day.

I’m using WP 4.0 and GCE 2.0.1 with a standard Google Calendar.

    Any other thoughts?

Thanks for posting about this. It seems like there are some issues with the timezone stuff right now. I will be looking at in depth to see if I can get a solution for everyone.

I’m having the same issue – cleared cache and still getting events from the past (one day). Thanks for looking into it.

Please update to the new version 2.0.2 and make sure your WordPress General Settings timezone option is set correctly.

Let me know if that fixes your issue.

    THanks

Clearing the cache doesn’t help with my feeds.

This is probably the same issue:

@bernd Ok I think the cache issue is fixed, and we’re addressing our other issue separately, which we’ll update in that other thread. Thanks.
