Version 2.03 NOT Working Properly

  • Hi,

    This was an awesome plugin, but for some reason it chooses when it wants to work or not and it seems to work on some pages but not others.

    Some widgets display on the home page when they shouldn’t but they don’t display on other pages that I have told them not to and I have had the same problem for other widgets on other pages. Could this plugin have issues with html javascript adder, wordpress text widget, or php code widget.

    Does anyone have similar issues?

    And does anyone have any possible solutions.

    There is definately some kind of conflict. I have had to revert to version 2.02. It’s ashamed that there seems to be very little support for such a great plugin

    I agree love this plugin but it is very inconsistent.

    I hope there is a new update to fix it soon.

    try to save widget settings after upgrade. Also, if you have some other plugins that deal with widget logic, disable them.

    All works fine for me. Just check what you set – to be hidden or shown, on which pages, and for everyone, logged-in or logged-out.

    So 3 parameter to combine, maybe you made some mistake? ??

    Hi urkekg,

    I tried various different various different widget types and it makes no difference. It does show or hide the widget but it doesn’t accept the pages or categories that I select.

    So if I tell a widget to hide on a specific page it will ignore the page selected.

    You are right, new conditional logic has not perfect (I look at all that conditions, and give up ??

    I cannot give access sorry.

    I have version 2.03 and wordpress version 3.8.1.

    I have tried using the wordpress text widget, a php plugin widget and a javascript plugin widget and I still get issues with all three.

    I have set the widget to show for “everyone” and “show on checked pages”.

    The widget displays correctly on the pages I have selected. But it also displays on the home page but no other pages. I have tried to reverse the settings to “hide on checked” and i have selected the homepage but it still displays.

    Plugin is not working with my WP 3.7.1 after update to v2.03
    I have 7 pages on my website, on 2 pages I have widget I didn’t even activated and I do NOT have show/hide check boxes any more on my widgets, so I cannot change anything now.

    I have made backup, so I will revert to old version (I was using 1.22 I think)…

    Please fix if you can.
