  • Happy to say the workaround worked perfectly for me! Thanks to all who posted and reposted it.

Just kidding. It’s not fixed. I don’t have a file named agenda-widget-form.php just a file called widget-form.php. I tried copying that in several places and even renaming it but no fix.

Fixed the problem, however widget is too wide and moves next widget below instead of having it on the right side..

Thanks billrodgers2013 i solved the error with your solution

    Thanks for the workaround.

For anyone who got confused with the template name as me (I thought it should be as my WP template name). Just copy the file to all of the folders under the theme folder.

Take this file: wp-content/plugins/all in one calendar/public/admin/agenda-widget-form.php

I’ve copied it to all themes folders:
    wp-content/plugins/all in one calendar/public/themes-ai1ec/vortex/
    wp-content/plugins/all in one calendar/public/themes-ai1ec/gamma/
    wp-content/plugins/all in one calendar/public/themes-ai1ec/plana/
    wp-content/plugins/all in one calendar/public/themes-ai1ec/umbra/

Then deactivated and reactivated, and the error message has gone. Good luck with that.

I have done fixes suggested by Jashan and Shirgans, but formatting is completely caput. See https://www.grapevine-mk.co.uk/our-diary/. It should look like this: https://www.winslowconcertband.co.uk/engagements/
I have removed the forthcoming events widget as that too is caput.
I have tried resaving all the calendar theme options but I am getting the following error message:
There was an error while compiling CSS. The message returned was: expecting number: failed at } line: 249
    Any ideas?

I had the same problem after updating to version 2.0.5
The workaround help me to fix the problem.
Many thanks to all the guys who post it.

    Happy Easter to all ??

I think I have now fixed it, but not sure. In the end I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it. It appeared to be OK. However as soon as I created a couple of events the same errors arose. I then did the workaround described by Shirgans and it looks OK at the moment. I will see what happens when I next create an event!

I had the same error message and followed the suggestions for fixing the problem.
Now I don’t get the error message anymore, but even don’t see the widgets.
No Ai1C widget in the list of available widgets!

I’ve updated and am having a slue of problems, beginning with everything described here.

I followed the fix and got rid of the error. But…

Other issues that have popped up:

    1. All of my events are now gone. They appear in the post count of the event categories, but when I view all events there are none.
    2. No events show up on the front end.
    3. The widget has disappeared from the front end even though it is present in the admin section.

    Please help!!!

    Hi Jashan,

Very happy the workaround did its job.

    Thanks, Theo

Yay Jashan, your workaround worked perfectly!

The “Workaround” removes the error from the widget page but the actual widget no longer works properly. Is there any word on when a new version will be released that has the widget working again or how to roll back to version 2.0?

Ok, I got everything working. The default theme is still broken, but if you switch to a different theme (I used gamma) then everything worked again.

CHANGING TO A DIFFERENT THEME WORKED. As noname4444 says, the default vortex them is broken in the current upgrade, but the others seem to work. I used plana….much easier than messing with all these fixes.
