Version 2.2 causing trouble in Win Vista

After upgrading to WP version 2.2, I can’t even get the cursor to show up in IE7 and everything works in Firefox except that when I try to make a hyperlink – the hyperlink box shows up empty and I can’t get it to go away.
Is this a problem that version 2.2 has with Vista? What can I do to correct it?
