I updated this plugin today, and now everything seems to be going wrong!
I used to be able to “manage” my events by going back to them and editing them, however on the sidebar there’s no longer such an option, and the drop-down menu on top is also giving errors. ex// “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” AND this is impossible since I am the only author of my wordpress page.
I used to love this plugin, but I’m considering moving to another calendar plugin that WON’T give me issues…
    PLEASE RESOLVE THIS!!

What version did you update from? This seems likea permissions issue, but I don’t know exactly what. Can you get to any My Calendar pages?

I updated from version 2.2.13 to version 2.3.2. From there on I couldn’t access any of the My Calendar pages, except the settings page.
I solved this…by deleting the new version, and installing the previous version (2.2.13), now it seems to be working perfect again.

OK. If you choose to upgrade again, and have problems, let me know. I don’t provide support for older versions, however. I have no other similar reports, however.

FWIW, I had the same problem updating a test site. Going from 2.2.1.3 to 2.3.1 (and ultimately to 2.3.3) I noticed that there was no listing for Add/Manage events in the sidebar. When I noticed the Add Event tab on the admin bar, I clicked on Events and got the message that I did not have sufficient privileges – I’m the only user and have Admin privileges.

My solution – I deactivated and deleted My Calendar. Then did a fresh install from the WordPress repository – and now I can see Add/Manage Events in the sidebar, I can access Events from the Admin bar. And all previous calendar event data is intact.
