I’ve updated the plugin and tested in with WordPress 4.9.8
and it still crashes with error 500
    plugin says version 3.0.4

My tech guy says in the readme.txt it says:

    Requires at least: 3.0
    Tested up to: 4.9.8
    Requires PHP: 5.6 or later
    Stable tag: 3.0.5
    License: GPLv2 or later

So this should indicate it being the latest version..

It even crashed my live site..

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

We’ve made a small adjustment to prevent a conflict and uploaded a new version (3.0.6). It is available now from the plugin store and directly from our site: https://nomorecaptchas.com/#!/download

Please let us know if you encounter any issues with this version.

Confirmed, it does not crash the site..

    one weird thing though..

on my test site Everything works fine, no problem..
on my live site (https://www.safeunderdark.com/) I get this:

Insecure connection detected We strongly believe in and support a secure internet. Please check that your connection is encrypted (read more on the subject here or here). Alternatively, if no certificate is available for you, you can delete the cookies your website stores on your browser (here’s how to do it) or you can use a different username to login.

    FYI:
With NoMoreCaptchas disabled, this notice was gone..
    and the comment was posted..
With NoMoreCaptchas activated, the notice posted above das displayed again,
    comment was not posted.

Website is secure with https, not sure what’s the cause of this..

    please advice..

and thank you for your great support!

    FYI:
    One more thing I’ve noticed:

when updating to 3.0.6 the notice:
“Please be sure to register NoMoreCaptchas in order to activate protection.”
appears, even when NoMoreCaptchas is already registered.

not a very big deal but more a ‘cosmetic’ issue in my opinion. ??

    And a second notice:
“Please go to Settings>Discussion to disable trackbacks and pingbacks and enable the option that users must be registered to comment. That will shut the back door to your site that spammers exploit.”

been testing nowe for 15 minutes or so..
except for the notice on my live site
everything looks like it is in working order
    no more error 500 ??
    thank you
