Version 3.0 – minor bug with pixel counter and the ampersand character

Hi,

I’ve just updated to 3.0. All looking great apart from one minor bug with the pixel counter – which I’m loving btw as I can squeeze a little more info into the page titles :).

If I use the ampersand (&) character in the Custom Page Title in the on-page SEO module the new pixel length is read correctly in the module with the character rendered: https://snag.gy/p8KyDg.jpg

However, in the admin >> SEO >> Home Page Settings module the ampersand character is rendered as html, which increases the pixel length: https://snag.gy/gfiGjI.jpg

Note that this does not occur with all symbols, as ‘+’ is rendered as a character rather than html in the Home Page Settings module: https://snag.gy/CsY4zV.jpg

I assume I can trust the on-page module pixel count for now, as this is how search engines will render the symbols/characters.
