Have just updated 3 websites to Version 3.1.44 – all three website have crashed since. One reports a critical error, one comes up blank and the other reports “Error thrown – Class “SimpleCalendar\plugin_deps\Carbon\Carbon” not found”. Tried downgrading PHP from 8.2 to 7.4 (and everything in between) but no change. Will try reinstalling the old version…

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thanks @voltronik.

Yes, have just done the same – Simple Calendar deactivated and deleted on all 3 websites. Then reinstalled version 3.1.43, downloaded from the WP repository. Normal service resumed on all three sites…

Won’t update again until there’s further information from the developers, possibly a version 3.1.45 which doesn’t cause the site crashes.

Ditto. I’ve also disabled auto-updates on that plugin for now.

hi, I am also reporting that 3.1.44 crashed our site with the log error
PHP Warning: include_once(): Failed opening ‘third-party/vendor/autoload.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’/:.’) in {redacted}/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/google-calendar-events.php on line 58

    Hi,

I also have 3 sites that crash following installation of 3.1.44

In the hope that it might help with diagnosing the problem – please find error messages generated on a staging copy of one of these sites below:

Hello, I have the same problem, but don’t know if reinstall 3.1.43 is a good workaround because NinjaFirewall reports, that this version is vulnerable ;-(
Hope 3.1.45 will be coming soon

    Hello all,

Apologies for the mistake. We have rolled out another release (v3.1.45) which should fix this.

Please let us know if you still face any issues.

Same. It caused a critical website error )0: Have disabled the plugin. Seems to be trying to open a missing ‘Carbon’ file.

@kayafr1ca please try the latest version, it should be fixed.

@rosinghal 3.1.45 does not seem to fix this issue

same here. Install 3.1.45 two times. both crashed site

Version 3.1.45 is the one that crashed my sites. I’ve disabled auto-updates.

same thing for me. the latest version 3.1.45 brings my site down. I disabled the plugin while waiting for a fix

3.1.45 is giving same error. There has been a critical error on this website.
