When I upgraded from 3.0.X to 3.1.0, email could not be sent. Depending on the version I either get a “bool false” or “email not sent” message.

This is on Linux and I am using the system mailer.

    Version 3.0.X works fine.

That was quick. Thanks, however the “test” email looks the same as an account verification email. A simple text message saying “test email” would be better.

    Hello,
The test email sends the email template according to the saved settings of the plugins.
This helps the plugin user to see that how the customers will get the email in their mailbox.

    Thanks

Since it is a test/example/sample, the subject line should indicate that.
When I first got the email my first thought was “what’s broken now.”

There should be some text saying that sending a test message sends an example verification message showing what the user will see.

    FWIW.

    Thanks for fixing the issue.
