• I received an email from my site during an auto update indicating that Social Media Auto Publish had caused a technical issue on my site. I had to enter Recovery Mode to fix it, by disabling the plugin.

    The following is the error message:

    Error Details

    An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 1956 of the file /wp-content/plugins/social-media-auto-publish/admin/publish.php. Error message: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’, expecting ‘)’

    If I attempt to manually reactivate the plugin, I receive the following error message.

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error.

    • Fixed a critical issue that caused errors in certain cases when connecting to Telegram

    I’m not sure why this is the description of the fix, as I have never used Telegram in my life. I really hope it fixes the actual issue.
