    Hi, MyCalendar stopped showing the right (current) month, no matter what browder I use; it always shows July 2025 instead of June 2024 and trying to jump to another month of year does not work, only July 2025 remains visible; rolling back from version 3.5.7 to 3.5.6 repairs this issue but I’d rather use the most current version of MyCalendar, of course; is this a known issue and is there anything I could do to fix this?

    That’s definitely not a known issue. Can you share a link? It sounds somewhat like a caching issue; but I don’t know why that would be a problem with 3.5.7 and not with 3.5.6.

    updated the plugin to 3.5.7 again; tried several browsers (vivaldi, safari, arc), this time 2024 June is shown, but I still can not jump to another month by selecting a different month or clicking the next or previous month buttons, so nothing else but June 2024 will be shown;

    shared the link Friday but unfortunately no reaction so far;
    i have let the plugin on version 3.5.7 in order to trace the issue but i will have to switch back to 3.5.6. because clients are complaining that the calendar shows incorrect info (only June info);
    i will leave the plugin on 3.5.7 for another day or so, hopefully i will get a hint what’s going on with 3.5.7

    Honestly, there’s nothing that I’m aware of that’s different between 3.5.6 and 3.5.7 that I would expect to create this difference. 3.5.7 and 3.5.8 only contain minor bug fixes, and I can’t see any reason that would make a difference.

    It seems very much to me like a caching issue, but I have no idea why you’d be getting the difference you’re getting between the two versions.

    If it’s a caching issue, I’d expect it to be a caching issue on your site, not in your browser. Are you using any caching plugins?

    updated to 3.5.8: problem still there
    disabled w3 total cache plugin: calendar activities disappeared completely, only the calendar header is there;
    rolled back to 3.5.7: calendar activities are stil gone, only the header is visible with a default month of july 2025 (yes 2025);
    tried to roll back to 3.5.6. but that one is no longer there under roll-backs, so rolled back to 3.5.0, without success: all agenda items are still gone, only the header is visible;

    during all above mentioned steps cache plugin w3 was deactivated (have been using w3 for quite a while and never had issues with it);

    so now i am lost, no working calendar; i will roll back now to 3.5.8 again in order to have the latest version active (after i did that the default month in the heading is july 2024 (yes 2024), calendar items for 1 month are back again but there is no way to jump from there to another month, only july 2024 is shown); jumping to a specific month and using the back and forward buttons don’t work;

    maybe i have to completely remove and reinstall calendar again? don’t know but if i would lose all the mycalendar settings that would be a big step back for me;

    hope to read a workable solution here soon because at the moment i am lost ??

    additional info: i have a clone of the website (for testing purposes) which is almost the same as the original, in this clone mycalendar is working perfectly!

    one more observation: in the (frozen) calendar ‘Agenda’ july 2024 one can see an event on july 9: Minigolf;
    if i move this event to the trash, it is removed from the list of published events and added to the list of trashed events, however… the Agenda july 2024 is not updated, the Minigolf event is still there in the browsers, unexpected, meaning that changes to the contents of mycalendar are no longer reflected in the agenda in the browser

    At the moment, I’m seeing that you’re running 3.5.8, and I can see the correct months change as expected. I can’t verify whether the right events are shown, since I don’t have any way of knowing what’s right there, but it looks right.

    mycalendar was corrupted, no idea what it caused; main site and cloned site were almost equal before the misery, when i added a few new events to the main site (changed events and its repetitions) when the misery started; nothing helped to fix it, in the end i decided to use the not affected clone site as a source to clone it to the main site; that helped, everything is fine now; unfortunately we will never discover what has happened but i am glad that mycalendar is healthy again, it’s my most important plugin!

    Well, that sounds pretty weird – but I’m glad it’s resolved in the end! Thanks for following up!
