    Hi everyone!

Last year I made the decision to put this plugin up for adoption, as I didn’t have time to continue developing it. Another developer took it over. They had a history of working with WordPress and seemed the right person to take this work on.

However, after breaking the plugin guidelines, the plugin was suspended from the repository and the developer took the decision to request the plugin was closed and to walk away. Unfortunately, that leaves all users with an abandoned plugin, many of whom won’t even realise. Any security vulnerabilities would go un-patched and, consequently, put everyone at risk. Rather than allow that to happen, I worked with the Plugin review team to take the plugin back again.

What I don’t have the rights to, though, is the previous developers code changes. For that reason, we took the decision to reverse all the changes they made. Version 3, now live, is therefore the last version I pushed out a few months ago. If you want to retain the previous version, please don’t update – if you’ve done it already then, sorry, but the code isn’t available and there is nothing I can do. Moving forward is our only choice here, but it is the safest route.

If you have any questions, please let me know in the replies.

The plugin is up for adoption again but, next time, I’ll try and be more careful over who I pick to take the work on.
