Version 3 is over-engineered

  • I really love Ninja Form. Thank you for a wonderful plugin.

    Developers sometimes feel the need to continuously add features or change perfectly good applications – I get this. But the look-and-feel of Ninja Form V2 was nicely perfect. The user interface of V3 is NOT very user friendly and the interface change (V2 to V3) was unnecessary.

    Your current path with kill one of the best plugin in the WP box.

    This is one area where we will have to agree to disagree. While 3.0 has not been without it’s challenges, that vast majority of users love the new interface and find it much more appealing and easier to use.

    When we first built Ninja Forms v2, we used the menu editor markup and css for the form builder because we wanted it to feel exactly like WordPress. But in 2017, even the WordPress UI is horribly dated and inefficient. In the coming year or two even WordPress will be moving on to a new look and feel. It has to.

We strive to get better every day and quality feedback is one of the main ways we can do that.
