Version 3.4 generate tag instructions

    In the 3.4 version, after a tel tag is generated, there are two pieces of code. The instructions direct the user to add the first tag code in dark orange bar to the text field on the left. Then the user is instructed to add the second piece of code in the dark green bar to the mail fields below. Which ‘mail fields’? To one of the fields in the messages section? or to the ‘additional settings’ section?

  • hi,

    the second piece of code is used to inject the info outputted from the form into the constructed email. You simply add the code to whichever field you think is relevant.

    e.g. I have the following in my mail “From:” field

    [first-name] [last-name] <[email]>

    and this in my “Message body:” field

    From: [title] [first-name] [last-name]
    Phone: [phone]
    Email: [email]

    Interested In:
    [checkbox]

    Message:
    [message]
