Version 4.6 Update

    Please explain why version 4.6 does not show in the ManageWP dashboard as a plugin requiring update. In the past this plugin auto updated. To update to 4.6 requires logging into each sites dashboard.

    Hey, yes – the new version has been released and the update should happen automatically, have no worries. This is not new, the automatic updates have been happening since January. Here’s an article where you can read more about this.

    I understand your explanation for this. I’m seeing this too across all websites.

    When is the auto-update likely to run? A number of my websites are showing the update as available after a day or two even after having logged into the dashboard. I would assume that logging into the admin would trigger cron on the updates to nudge the auto-update to run. Not sure if I’m correct?
