Ok. I have tried the usual, deactivate plugins, change theme and reinstall WP but so far no joy. Will keep looking

Have you attempted this troubleshooting suggested inthat thread I linked above?

My layout is all weird on the Dashboard

Flush your cache. If you’re using server caches, or a plugin, flush them too, especially Memcached/APC stuff. They can be sticky.

I don’t use any cache plugins.

Latest update appears to have solved it.

I spoke too soon, not fixed. Oh well refresh it is
