After updating to version 5.0.1 most posts return the following error when updating from the main editor:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at [redacted]/ZestyThings.com/wp-includes/class.wp-styles.php:237) in [redacted]/ZestyThings.com/wp-admin/post.php on line 197

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at [redacted]/ZestyThings.com/wp-includes/class.wp-styles.php:237) in [redacted]/ZestyThings.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1210

I have 2 sites using different themes and both exhibit the exact same behavior – the update process does work even though you return the warnings. I disabled YOAST and the warning goes away. Re-enabled YOAST and the error returns. I then disabled all plugins except YOAST and confirmed there is no error. Only when both the new version of YOAST is active AND StarBox is active do the errors appear. This was not an issue prior to the most recent update of YOAST.

Thank you for the response. I’ve submitted the issue to the GitHub repository for Yoast SEO. I have also already reported the issue to the support folks at StarBox via their support forum at StarBox Plugin Support – no response from them at this time.

I also discovered today that in order to replicate the issue, the post you’re updating or publishing must have the [starbox] shortcode explicitly in the post.
