Version 5.0 issues – Premium user btw

    The release of the 5.0 is not going smooth guys, lets be clear about that. Multiple issues popped up.

    This is how our pages look in general with 4.2.9, which I reverted to immediately;

    And this is what happens when 5.0.0 is active, and yes cache is cleared etc etc.

    Version 5.0 seems to break a lot of things going forward from 4.2.9.
    Floating button; breaks, switching breaks. See the other examples in the support forum. All in this releases sadly seems rushed or not properly tested.

    Luckily reverting back to 4.2.9 was possible but the premium version I can not roll back, and I kinda hope that does not break any other things in the meantime. Hope you can look into this and resolve the issues.

    Sorry but copying that answer on various posts which notes issues does not change a thing. That is not doing damage control or offering support.

    My theme does not push the colors I can assure you, nor do I have any builder of sorts. As noted I am a Ultimate user of your very plugin. The problem is not with the Ultimate plugin, having that new version enabled is fine also with 4.2.9.

    The issue has to do with the updated base 5.0.0 plugin, reverting to 4.2.9 fixes all issues both me and others seem to be experiencing . So once again please look into your new 5.0.0 base plugin and for the love of it … be somewhat supportive ??

    Could you let me know where I could revert, I am experiencing color issues and loading issue. Hopefully, reverting will help.

    Edit: Do you have a link to download version 4.2.9?

    Kimberly, sure no problem; Go here; https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-dark-mode/advanced/ then scroll down all the way click the dropdown select the version you want and click download.

    Then just upload that zip and replace the existing plugin, or usr ftp, whatever you prefer.
