Can you provide more information about how it broke your site, and why you had to remove 2 versions of SEOPress?

    and
SEO is accused of all the evils while before the 4.5 update of your plugin everything was fine!

Ok, and did you update to 4.5.1?

    Thread Starter penseelibre

    (@penseelibre)

now yes and remove the 2 SEOPress +SEOPress Pro
and i have no more SEO !

i write something too on SEOPress support

    (@johnny5)

I don’t know what you mean by that, or how Redirection is connected in anyway with SEOPress.

Hi i had to rollback to version 4.4.2, after updating to 4.5.1 my site was not redirecting without www ( dont know why becuase i dont use redirection for this ) with 4.4.2 its working again.

@johnny5 Can you provide me a link so i can install 4.4.2 and do tests without having to rollback the complete site?

    Plugin Author John Godley

    (@johnny5)

@harvis you can find all versions on the plugin page. I don’t know why it would affect your www behaviour, unless your redirects were ‘URL and server’, and you had them configured for the www domain.

    Thread Starter penseelibre

    (@penseelibre)

@harvis Indeed no need for redirection to switch from https://mysite.com to https://www.mysite.com or inverse there is everything you need in the htaccess of all wp

    (@penseelibre)

    and for me ?
i suppose the better it is destroye all tables of plugin redirection to get again my SEOPress who includes redictions.
I have get the json of my redirections.

    harvis

    (@harvis)

@johnny5 thanks for response, bro im sorry that im so idiot but i cannot find list of versions to download on the plugin page.

    Plugin Author John Godley

    (@johnny5)

@penseelibre I don’t understand what you are asking. I don’t know what SEOPress is and what does it have to do with Redirection? It is not possible for it to break another plugin.

@harvis at the bottom of this page https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/redirection/advanced/

@johnny5 SEOPress is a plugin with its own redirection module. Looks like this thread can be marked “resolved”, because using two redirection plugins together is a bad idea.

If the OP prefers Redirection, he/she should disable redirections in the other plugin.

    Plugin Author John Godley

    (@johnny5)

Yep. There doesn’t appear to be a pattern to this so it seems related to the SEOpress plugin. Marking as resolved for now.
