Dear HS Support team and community:

I just updated the HS plugin from 7.39.5 version to 7.40.0 and it fails to show my contact form. It shows the following errors in console:

Script from “https://js.hs-scripts.com/7367169.js?integration=WordPress” was blocked because of a disallowed MIME type (“image/png”).

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://js.hsforms.net/forms/v2.js”.

Script from “https://js.hs-scripts.com/7367169.js?integration=WordPress” was blocked because of a disallowed MIME type (“image/png”).

Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://js.hs-scripts.com/7367169.js?integration=WordPress”.

Also, it fails to show the settings dashboard inside WordPress. Just a white screen in any admin view of the plugin.

The current version of WordPress is 5.4.2. It’s not an option to update to 5.5 at this moment and, regardless of that, the plugin should be backward compatible, as it states that is compatible with WordPress versions “4.0 or higher”.

I tried rollbacking but there is no track of previous versions in the public WP repository, making impossible for me to return it to the previous state (also, not an option at the moment to rollback the entire development).

Do you have a link where I can download a previous version?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @melvindrm

I cannot reproduce the errors with the contact form. What browser/OS are you using? We did not change anything there in the latest version it seems more a browser/network issue (the MIME-type is application/javascript, not image/png).

As for the settings dashboard inside WordPress, are there any errors in the browser console?

We normally do not leave older versions online as we often introduce breaking changes in the backend and we cannot guarantee everything works correctly. But here is v7.39.5 if that helps. Can you let us know if that solves the problem?

    Hi @mlamacchia:

    Thanks for your reply.

I’m using Firefox. Internet was fine, and the issue has more than 24 hours. I purged the server cache, cleaned my browser, I even used a VPN, nothing.

In the settings dashboard, the errors are the following:

    Uncaught TypeError: o is undefined
        p https://staging3.dolcegelato.com.co/wp-includes/js/dist/a11y.min.js:2
        p https://staging3.dolcegelato.com.co/wp-includes/js/dist/a11y.min.js:2

I purged the server cache and cleaned my browser again. I installed the previous version (thanks for the link btw), worked. Tried updating again, worked again. So all good.

    Thanks mate!

Received the following error in Firefox. The plugin works fine using Safari I found out.

Source map error: Error: Invalid URL: webpack://wp.[name]/webpack/bootstrap
    Resource URL: https://www.[domain].com/wp-content/plugins/leadin/js/dist/leadin.js?ver=7.41.0
