Version Compatiability

Hi,
I want to know contact form 7 plugin is compatible up to which version of WordPress and also i got an error with <b>WPCF7 2.4.4</b> onwards while testing something with WPCF7 for my own. I got <b>TypeError: $.handleError is not a function </b> when added file field with form and submitting the form and loader displays continuously.Before this 2.4.4 version my purpose with contact form 7 is working fine.Hope to get positive responses.
