    It’s date based.

    February 7th 2020 ( 2020-02-07 or as a version number 20200207 ).

    We usually go with 1.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3, 1.1.0, 1.2.0…

    But the date based versioning was used before we acquired the plugin so we had to continue with that, it can’t be changed to the other type since WordPress won’t recognize it as a newer version.
