Version number not making sense

I am a not confused regarding the version numbers.
In the sidebar I see the current version as “Version: 1.8.4”. This could be due to https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/whatshelp-chat-button/trunk/whatshelp.php#L5
In the changelog the highest version is 1.8.8 but the highest taged version is 1.8.9.3.
Do you think you could fix the confusion?

UlrichP.s. You do you don’t need to create a new tag when you increase the “Tested up to” version in the readme.
