Versions question

    Hello nice theme,
    I am new to WordPress (this is the first time I’ve used it) and I really like this theme. I have a couple questions if I may get some assistance.

    1) I am currently using version 2.0.5 of this theme and I have noticed that others have mentioned that they have updated to 2.0.9 and then I have seen on you theme page that 2.1.2 has been approved. I can’t seem to figure out how to update to a newer version of the theme. When I check for updates all I get is that WordPress is the latest version and that all my themes are up to date. Am I doing something wrong, or am I missing something?

    2) I have noticed that the “home” page is not listed in the “pages” app( or whatever it’s called) on the WordPress dashboard side menu) so I was wondering if there was a way to remove the “post” from the bottom of the “home” page? I would rather have my home page be clean an then let the subpages carry comments and posts and whatnot.

    3) With the “feature page” description on the main page showing a preview of the text from that page and not the information that I put into the description box, I am assuming that was addressed with one of the updates after the one I am using but I suppose that gets back to how to update the theme to a newer version.

    4) I also wanted to know if there was a way to allow my embedded map that I put on my “contact page” to show in the “feature page” image area on the “home” page?

    Hi,
    1) the last approved version is the 2.1.2. You can download it here https://www.ads-software.com/themes/customizr/developers/. Unzip it and copy the folder in your theme directory (you must have access to your file on the server to do so)
    The wordpress team update all theme at once, that’s why you can sometimes notice a delay.

    2) In the last version, the home page selected is displayed without any title. You just have to create an empty page and select it has home page.
    In the next releasethere will be an option to show neither post or page on front page.

    3) fixed in v2.1.2

    4) Just save the map as image and use it as featured image of the contact-us page.
