Vertical-align for content. how to make it works

Hello,

I’m quite new on coding.
I would like to have some suggestion on what I’m wrong to make the content page always aligned vertically.
I’m trying to use a manual method and sometimes it works but I’d like to understand how to make it centers vertically the content for all screen.

I did it manually for one page with only text here
an example link but it’s not a good solution.

For the other page that contain a slider with picture and videos.
I’ve tried to use vertical-align i.e .project{ display:table-cell; vertical-align:middle;} but it doesn’t work and I suppose I need to do something with containers to make it works. Here a link of this page: link
