vertical-align on phone

Using tablepress which is great, but i have run into a problem.

I have a table with two rows, 4 columns. First row are images, second is explainations for the images above.

Looks great on computer.

I have added responsive layout and am using device phone and mode flip.

Now when i look in a phone the images looks great, but the text is not beside the images at all. I am using vertical-align: middle; but it seems I have to add cellhight or something too ju get the cells to be equal so they align in mobile..
