It sounds like what I want.

unfortunately, it does not work as I expected. As a stupid user, I expect that all columns have the same height. Even more important that is on mobile auto. Now I solved it with height: XXXpx; and mobile auto. not a good solution. Any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi, thanks for reaching out. This is more of a Page Builder by SiteOrigin question.

The Stretch functionality makes use of Flexbox. It’s capable of stretching the cell background color or background image. To make use of this, edit the row concerned and click on the cell you’d like to edit, in the right column a new Cell Styles panel will appear, within the Design section you could add a background color or image. This is assuming Row Styles > Layout > Cell Vertical Alignment is set to Stretch.

Alternatively, you could make use of a plugin like this one: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/equal-height-columns/.

I tested it already with a background color. Did not work out.

I will check out the recommended plugin.

    Thx.

Was the background color applied to the cell? Here is a tutorial on the topic: https://siteorigin.com/page-builder-cell-vertical-alignment/

When editing the row, click on the cell you’d like to edit, a new panel will appear on the right called Cell Styles, the background color needs to be applied from within the Design tab of that section.
