Vertical centering text and keep it that way during responsive re-size

Hi,
We love the plugin but having issues with the following:
Vertical centering text and keep it that way during responsive re-size.
1. Currently the black ribbon is not vertically alligned.
2. When I resize the screen the ribbon goes all the way to the top.We would like to vertically center the ribbon and have it stay there even when the screen is resized.
