Vertical spacing too much on category pages
-
I’ve had to set up individual category pages with the shortcodes because my client wants category-specific sidebars. So I’ve set up pages with a shortcode like this:
[product_category category=”bowls” columns=”3″]
This creates a page with huge amounts of space between the product image, the product name, price, and Add to Cart button – as a tall, stretched out column. I’ve played with the column widths, but nothing changes that spacing. I get the same result with the built-in WordPress themes Twenty Ten, Twenty Eleven, and Twenty Twelve, so I know it’s not my theme.
Here is a link to a page demonstrating the problem: https://whirledpixels-sandbox.com/A2H/original-glass-art/bowls-platters/
The Shop page does not have this problem, but because of my sidebar requirements, I can’t use that setup.
I can’t find anything in the CSS that would explain why all that extra vertical spacing is being added. Any ideas?
thanks!
Luann
