• I deleted some data with this plugin because it said that they came from plugins that I stopped using, but in fact they came from installed plugins and so I ended up with many errors on my sites.

Support then informed me that the names of the plugins came from the users, so you can write anything on data noted as unknown, and the plugin will display the name to all the other users.

    Perfect for destroying your site!

    Hi @pierreto,

I’m really sorry you had this issue with Database Cleaner. We’d genuinely appreciate it if you could share which plugins you’re using and the specific type of data that was unintentionally removed—this would help us understand the issue better and possibly prevent similar problems for other users.

Indeed, since WordPress has over 60,000 plugins available, we partly rely on user feedback to accurately identify data origins. Most of our users find Database Cleaner extremely helpful, and we’re always eager to improve it further based on feedback like yours.

I hope you’ll reconsider your review once we’ve had the chance to resolve this issue together. We’re here to help!
