• I have been using this extension for years, and I am very familiar with the backend. However, the code is outdated, with classes and files containing thousands of links that are very poorly organized. Here’s some clear feedback from one of my clients who uses this plugin on their site:

“Furthermore, I’d like to point out that I find the system complicated with all these different terms: ‘paid posts’, ‘subscriptions’, ‘plans’, ‘membership’. I always spend a lot of time figuring out which ARMember sub-sub-menu to go to (and then which options to check, sometimes not very intuitive, like ‘monthly’) to find relevant information.”

And I completely agree with them.

On top of all this, they are always behind on updates and the evolution of the WordPress core. This is especially true when we want to use ARMember blocks in the “Edit Site” section; the ARMember blocks are not accessible.

Another example concerns exporting user data in General Settings -> Import/Export. If we want to select custom fields for export, we have to check the fields one by one because there is no simple “select all” option to check all the fields at once.
