Very best free slider!

I gave 4 stars, not 5 just because the free version doesn’t allow random slide order. However the team just replied on the forum that they might cmonsider it. Let’s hope ??

Apart from that, I have tried many sliders for WP these days and the Smart Slider features are particularly rich, pretty well described, documentation is helpful and responsivity is perfect. If it was not for the (now absent) random feature, it would definitely be my choice.

Also, although I can see the definite advantages of the Pro version for middle/big businesses, I greatly appreciate that the free version is nevertheless a “serious” version. Not like some plugins that offer a free version which is a joke since you can hardly do anything with it. Seems that this occurs more & more often in the WP world…
Like FooGallery, WordFence and (thanks god) many others, Smart Slider gives a free version that’s not a joke and that can satisfy people making personal and/or non profit sites and can afford small donations to plugins rather than buying premium.
