An excellent plugin, which with a few fixes could be AMAZING!

<p>This is the plugin I was looking for to run our Caravan Site bookings:</p>
<p>What’s Good:<br />1) It is very flexible and there are loads of config options, although you may need to buy a higher version to get them.<br />2) The support is great, replies come quickly and are polite and helpful.<br />3) It’s robust. It’s never broken or not worked, or messed up my bookings, so far!<br />4) Integration with Stripe and Paypal is good.<br />5) Emails with hashed links to allow customers to view and update/cancel their bookings work well. I don’t use them myself, but I tried them and they work well.</p>
<p>What could be improved:<br />1) There are a few issues around deposit payments. Once you get your head around how it works, it’s fine. At present, I want the ‘cost’ to show the amount outstanding. It shows the amount already paid. A booking for ￡110.00 shows ￡17.50 cost on the booking listing, as that is the deposit that has been paid via stripe, so I have to go into each one and change it. A checkbox option in config that says: Show ‘cost’ as ‘total cost’, ‘deposit’ or ‘balance’ would be a help.<br />2) Deposit options are limited. I would like a deposit which is one day’s fees for every week of the booking. Not an option.<br />3) You can alter the colours of the booking calendar page to match your palette, but you can only change the ‘timeline’ and ‘availability’ by editing the code directly, which would be lost when an update is released.<br />4) The booking calendar shows part booked days (arrival and departure days) as a triangle to show other customers that they can arrive or leave on those days. This is not an option for the ‘timeline’ view, which is a shame.<br />5) A comment is added automatically to each booking, in notes, which is brilliant! It says: “Total cost: ￡145.00 /deposit: ￡17.50, balance: ￡127.50/ – Tue 12th February 2019”. This is awesome. It doesn’t add this comment if the deposit and the total booking cost are the same, which is the case when a customer books a single night stay with us.</p>
<p>All in all, this is a great plugin, that could be amazing with a few little tweaks.</p>

<p>Just to add that we had a few problems with the stripe payment gateway. We emailed and the support was excellent, we got sorted and up and running again very fast, with good, clear instructions. We have been using this now for 4+ years and have also purchased it for a second site. Best bookings plugin I have tried, and we have tried a few!</p>
