• This is the one of most confusing plugin I’ve ever had to use. The entire interface of it is super confusing. And the developer keeps saying go to Dashboard > Forum, which is not correct. Dashboard has four options under it and Forum is not one of them. It took me a little over an hour to figure out what they meant by Dashboard > Forum.

The image (screenshot) showing under the “Topic Permissions” tab can not be found anywhere. I’ve looked through each menu option as well as pages and posts, topics, replies and forums. I literally just wasted about 3 hours over a plugin that clearly need to be more organized and redesigned. All of the documentation and instructions repeat the same thing over and over again. No real instructions.

All I wanted to do was show my forum but restrict it if the member is not logged in. I was able to finally figure that out, but even when the member was logged in, when they clicked on a top, it kept sending them to the registration page.

Did have the time to wait for someone to respond in WP support. The plug in worked, but you have to hunt and search for features without proper documentation.

@bijoufashion Sorry to hear that you found this plugin confusing.

developer keeps saying go to Dashboard > Forum

This plugin adds functionality for bbpress, and bbpress does indeed have dashboard>forums – if you are not seeing this it is likely to be a theme issue with bbpress, not an issue withy my plugin.

As the text next to the screenshot says ‘Once activated, new settings for Group Topic Permissions will appear in the settings for a forum in the Forum Groups box, once the forum is updated’ – but since you didn’t find dashboard>forums I suspect that finding this item in it was the issue

Not sure if you meant ‘did’ or ‘did not’, but in either case I can’t see that you posted anything in the support forum, so not sure if you had an issue here.
