VERY Dissapointed: Buy only if you Have Technical Skills.

    I have engaged the developers of this plugin for close to 9months and used the plugin for about 3months, this I believe gives me a good chance to make an objective review of this plugin. I will make a review of the plugin as a product and my experience of interacting with the Developer, because I believe a product is as good as its developer.

    PLUGINS:

    This plugin as great potential in general terms, its a very general plugin which unless you have development skills, dont bother to use or better still if you have to, use the free version.

    ITS PROS;

    • its free version has better functionalities than the premium version, functions like “importing users” works better with the free version, while the pro-version is complex and cumbersome, its actually a literal manual uploads.
    • It can capture by bare minimum the basic results of students, grades, marks, and positions where necessary.

    CONS:

    • Its a very generic plugin, its not designed with a normal school systems in mind, its designed with more of college or online college courses mindset, but if you are in elementally school systems to junior schools, this plugin requires massive customizations which the developer will assure you of completing in weeks, only to count months almost an year to complete.
    • There is zero documentation on anything that you can read and follow through on your own, you have to always follow up with the developer if he ever replies to your questions for clarifications
    • Its got a major issue with “Intergrity” as a exam results plugin….this is where you find a teacher is able to access subjects of other students even from classes he doesnt teacher, and he is able to modify or even award marks and results to those students, which is a serious integrity issue in an exam context.
    • Importing users especially for pro-version is a nightmare, its actually a manual process, and when you ask the developer about it, he will say it can only be refined through extra pay.
    • In normal school learning process, a teacher doesnt teach in a vacuum, the layout is basically from; A class, then subjects, then teachers and finally an overall class teacher….this plugin lacks that basic class taxonomy…..and when you querry the developer about it, he will say, only by paying extra can that taxonomy be upgraded for you, even with the pro-version.
    • Classes are always managed by class teachers in almost every school system, but for this, its assumed on the whole school is made of one admin, many teachers with zero classes but many subjects…….this is a big flow for a results based plugin.
    • some assessments like awarding marks or making comments on “rattings ” of a student can only be done by one school admin. this assumes that its a small school with one class of 10students only. Thats a big flow….and no documentations for this.
    • It does not provide any analytics for the teacher on the basis of any perfomance of the students even with the pro-version, it has zero analytics for the teacher and school admin

    THE DEVELOPER:

    • He will promise to fix your request in days, but he will take months before you get an update from him, i waited for 8months to have simple modifications done for students with the pro-version.
    • he doesnt care about weather you buying the plugin for personal use or business, he doesnt have that urgency for his clients, he will postphone your reviews for weeks unending.
    • He will make the ammendments finally, but then, when you send feedback for him to correct the issues, he will ignore your reviews forever, meaning, you most likely going to loose clients because you cant give a program with results integrity issues to any school
    • He might be snappy with words and might use disrespectful language when you ask for clarifications to some of the work he will insists to have done, words like, “you are confused” and “you need to think” might be common from him when you ask a clarification.
    • When he commits to do the work, he will do a good job, but after reminding you every second that what you paid for, was nothing compaired to other urgent projects he is working on for other clients……this sucks!!!
    • Overall…..if you must use this plugin, just take the free version and hustle around it or better still get some different developer to customize it to fit your needs, or just get another plugin from the plugin store.
    • I assured the developer, i will make an objective review of our interaction to make sure it helps someone who will come after this to make an informed decision.

    Additionally, should anyone reach out directly, rest assured we’re providing assistance. While your comments highlight areas for improvement, it’s worth noting the positive aspects as well. We’ve delivered all features included in your payment and addressed additional requests, understanding that new tasks beyond the scope may require additional compensation. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

    We have added all the features for which he have paid and after that he give us more new tasks and don’t want to pay for those tasks. So, normally no developer will do that work for life based on fixed price.

    If anyone needs clarification about this project, please contact us. We will happy to share its complete documentation. And then anyone can understand how cheaply we have added or customized the features. Still he asking to add more features, but don’t want to pay for it!

    Since this is our business, we can’t treat any users unfairly. What do you think we should do if someone tries to bla*ckmail us?

    I made this post here because its the only way I can get attention for you to complete what it is you submitted.

    1. You sent an update with an error. The error is that, when you add a subject to a students existing classes, it doesn’t pick the new subjects even when updated. You said you would correct that. Which you haven’t, meaning students are viewing incomplete results in the results card.
    2. when calculating the average’s, the screen shot shared with you showed wrong average’s, meaning a students results marks are incorrect, you said you will check and update, have you corrected it?
    3. when doing assessment for rating’s, you said it can be done by any teacher, yet, from what you submitted, no teacher is able to do any ratting on the skills of any students. Have you corrected it up?
    4. the customization you submitted, you said the backdating of results was already working, but when I tested and shared the results, it was impossible to submit any backdated results, you promised to correct and update it. Have you updated it up?

    I have no reason whatever to want to blackmail you, am simply here asking you to correct what you submitted and promised to correct as per our discussion. Since you don’t reply to my conversation any more.

    In case I need any extra customizations like I had suggested, I am sane enough to know that it will require payments to be done.

    All am asking is for you to honor your part of our discussion and I will gladly come back here and say, you fulfilled your full part of the bargain. Am here because you don’t respond to the feedback discussed now almost 4weeks down the line.

    Absolutely, if there’s any issue, we’re committed to resolving it.

    However, it seems like you’re addressing something different. We provided live demos before product delivery and urged you to test it.

    We’ve even conducted live tests. I hope this clarifies things, and I appreciate your understanding.

    We know very well that, he’s share this screenshot! We may also have understood his point of view now. He is sharing personal matters here. And he wants us to br*eak these gui*delines too.
