Very Good !

  • What i adore in this plugin is also the reason why i give only 4 (and not 5) stars… It’s very easy to explain just anyone how this plugin works ; even a total newbie in WordPress will be able to backup, restore and migrate with this tool which is GREAT !

    Two “down sides”
    – it’s “all or nothing” : so backups tend to be large… would be nice if there was option “full backup 1/month, database 1/day” for example…
    – would be gorgerous if the generated files would be “zip” (and not property format)… because once in a while you just want to extract some files of a given backup which is not possible today

    Some coments are not quiet fair IMO… true, you need at least 1 payed plugin for most of the things… BUT it’s 99€ “one time” for “unlimited websites”… Hey, it’s really not so much if you plan to use it on several sites…

    I find this tool very convenient and use it since 2 years or so on 20 or so websites… huge time saver ??

    WPRESS format has many advantages over zip files. I have written about them here.

    Hello ! Reactive as always ??
    I know for the features and as far as i can tell, the “partial backup” is somewhere marked as “planed”… so i am looking forward to it !

    i didn’t knew about the wpress extractor – thats very very good. I understand that wpress format has advantages… but i didn’t knew i could extract it easely ??

    Thank you. The review can stay as is – I don’t mind the number of stars, my goal is to make sure our user’s questions are answered and I point them to the right resources.

    The backup feature that you are looking for is indeed planned and some work has been done so far. I want to make sure that it delivers on our commitment to simplicity.
