• I already tried restoring using WPvivip on my local host, and it works. But when I try to restore on the VPN, the progress freezes.

Can someone help me about WPvivid restore freezes on VPN, please?

    Hello,

Please follow the doc to configure the WPvivid settings on the target site.

Afterwards, you can proceed to restore the site content individually.

If your backup files were merged into a single package, decompress the zip packages to obtain the following separate packages:

    1. wp core
    2. wp content
    3. plugins
    4. themes
    5. uploads
    6. database

Next, upload each package to the target site individually and restore them separately.

Please refrain from canceling the restore process or refreshing/closing the restore page while a restore task is in progress, as the restoration is actively ongoing in the background. Wait until a successful or failed message appears before taking any further action.

    Kind regards.

Thank you for your response and suggestions. But it’s still not working. is there any effect of installing the plugin manually (copying the folder)?

    Regards.

    Hello @lf29

Would you explain more about ‘is there any effect of?installing?the plugin?manually?(copying the folder)?’?

In your case, would you send us a debug zip from the Debug tab of WPvivid Backup Plugin on the website? Please include a link to this thread when you do that so we could track the issue.

    All the best,

I installed the WPVIVIP plugin manually by downloading the file from its website. Then the plugin was copied into the folder. then activated. Does this manual installation process affect the restore process from the backup file?

I can’t send debug files automatically from my VPS. You can access my debug files here.
    Regards.

    Hello,

The installation source of the WPvivid plugin (WordPress plugin repository or WPvivid website) doesn’t affect the restore process.

While the debug files you provided lack a restore log, you can send the debug information directly to our support email at support(a)wpvivid.com.

To ensure efficient tracking of your thread, we kindly ask you to include the link to the thread in your email.

    Kind regards.
