Very good Plugin but has an update problem

    The plugin is very good and easy to use!
    I use it for many time and in many of my websites… but now i have a problem when i trying to update it…

    I updated all my websites to 4.2.3 (the latest version of wordpress until today) and when i try to update the plugin, all my galleries diasappear from the pages of website and replace with code like that: [responsive_gallery gallery = 1]

    PS:
    In the “WordPress Updates” page and “Plugins” section, i see this message:
    ==============================
    Responsive Image Gallery
    You have version 1.1 installed. Update to 3.1. View version 3.1 details.
    Compatibility with WordPress 4.2.3: 100% (according to its author)
    ==============================

    So it is compatible with 4.2.3 version of wordpress or not?

    I am really sorry for the inconvenience. Previous version of this plugin was little bit problematic so i have changed most of the things in the plugin, along with shortcodes and galleries. New user interface is more user friendly and easy to use, you do not have copy and paste shortcodes, it can be directly be put in posts or pages, or the gallery itself can be viewed as a post. it is compatible with version 4.2.3, but it doesnot use any of the older version of shortcodes and galleries.

    Is it possible to import the previous gallery onto the new?
    Have you provided a way of import?
