This is a great replacement for Explanatory Dictionary which I’ve used on a number of sites but which has not been updated for over 3 years. This plugin gives me nearly all the features I had with Explanatory Dictionary.
But I do miss having a shortcode to wrap around text to exclude a particular occurrence. For example with Explanatory Dictionary I could use [no-explanation]some keyword[/no-explanation] to exclude particular instances on a page. This was useful when I had too many occurrences of the same keyword on a page. Perhaps that could be a future enhancement.
This plugin allows me to exclude an entire page or post, which will be very useful.
In general, I find it suits my needs nicely, and I received great support to add some custom css. Thank you, Jamel.Z, for this plugin.

About the no-explanation feature, it’s already one of the pro version features, you can check it in the advanced tab, it’s called ‘Exclude areas’ in which you can add the CSS class area to exclude from being matched
If you mean something different please let me know here or contact me from my contact page on my official site so I can see if it’s a worthy feature to be implemented in Tooltipy
