• I used Virtue Free on many sites for a long time. Since the Premium license is very fairly priced, I decided to upgrade to support Kadence. I then upgraded all of my Free sites to Premium. Then, I started two more sites from scratch and used Ascend Premium. Right now I have six sites using Kadence Premium themes, and will eventually move the Virtue sites to Ascend.

I have only had occasion to contact support once — and that was before I became a Premium customer. Their updates are frequent and reliable (i.e. they usually fix or add what was intended w/o breaking something else, a common WordPress developer problem).

I’m very happy with Kadence software, support, and maintenance. A pleasure to write this review.

And now I have had occasion to seriously test out the tech support for a site that was challenging for me. Outstanding. A few of my questions could have very reasonably been responded to w/ something like “Not my problem, dude — this is Ascend tech support, not w3schools . com. Take your MailChimp form question elsewhere.”

Instead, I either received actual solutions (i.e. CSS code to copy-and-paste) or extremely helpful pointers that allowed me to develop a solution. I have two computer science degrees, and have been programming since 1978 — I know a good software biz when I see one.

    Thanks, Hannah & Ben!
