Very helpful but not "idiot-proof"

  • This plugin is exceptionally useful for bloggers. That said, the reason it received only 4 stars out of 5 is because the meta box shows up at woocommerce products as well, which of course the post tags are irrelevant. I’m sure the same would happen for all other custom post types.

    The meta box has to be displayed only on blog posts – other than that… this plugin is perfect, thank you !!!

    @nick6352683 thanks for the great feedback. While I don’t want to explicitly disable the plugin’s use on custom post types I would love to give the user the option to select which types of posts the meta box is available for. As a developer would you prefer this type of customization on it’s own settings page or within the metabox itself? Thanks again!

    Hi robmarston. Great Plug. To chime in on your question to OP, as a dev I would prefer the post type config settings to be on its own page. That way the post meta box can stay clean/minimal.

    Thinking more about it, it would also be very useful if there was a way to “tag” tags to be shown in your selector. Maybe add a checkbox to each tag item on tag admin page, whether to be included in tag selector meta box on post edit page.
